We have come here so often that we started calling this joint our office.When cheap drinks are accompanied with acceptable bites, is easy for me to become a regular. I also like the variety of options you are given; tvs, pool table, long bar, and cozy booths.Food speaking, I’ve tried the panchos with chilli. It was a mission impossible for two to finish them. First time I’ve ever seen the toppings over passing the totopos. The flavour was ok.If you want to eat healthier, I would recommend the grilled salmon with the seafood fondue. The potatoes were al dente, the salmon was juicy and perfectly pink, plus you can indulge with the creamy seafood because the salmon is lean right?The beef they use for the skewers with bacon was super tender, cero chewy, perfectly cooked. I could taste good quality meat.Have I mention that they have affordable boost?Something that semi kills my mood: the place smells like cheesy feet soaked…
We went to the Yates Street Taphouse for supper. I had heard good things so I was excited to try it. The food was good, did the trick but I wasn’t overly impressed. I had the Yates Street Chicken Wrap and my boyfriend had the Chicken Bacon Ranch BBQ pizza. If you’re going for selection of beer they have a ton here and that was very impressive. It was quite busy in the restaurant but the service could definitely be improved. When we entered we asked to be seated so we could see the basketball game. The hostess told us she was pretty sure all the tables were taken so to find a seat at the bar. When we walked over there were open tables so I went back and asked if we could sit at one and said just said okay sure. Our waitress was not mean, but not very friendly. I’d maybe go back for beers and decent bar food but there’s other places I’d rather go first.
Disrespectful. Will never recommend this place to family or friends. Go anywhere else downtown Victoria, staff is disrespectful and rude, drinks and food overpriced. Will NEVER return again.
this place just upped the prices on everything, and with the increase on food prices the portions got significantly smaller, hows that for greedy?this kitchen is also riddled with silverfish and mice.crammed full of young collage kids and blaring music at night this isnt the most charming atmosphere victoria has to offer. to all patrons here, looks around at all the other cheaper and nicer places intown to grab a bite of food or a pint.

Certified Angus Beef Rib Eye. How can I describe this other then cooked n seasoned to perfection. Hats off to the chef who cooked this steak. The steak surpassed the expectation of a steak house. Was beyond better then the Keg Steak house. Will definitely be back for more.
