I bought the Travelzoo deal and what a deal it was. $119 for three courses for two plus a $30 beverage credit. The only thing not included was the seafood pot and 12 oz steak, but lobster was a go.I ordered the scallops and pork belly and my friend had the Burrata salad. good start, onwards to my lobster with shaved asapargus and Morrel mushrooms yummy. For dessert, we ordered the Yew version of the deathstar. a moulded chocolate confection set aflame tableside. nice touch. They do a nice whiskey sour too. for a fine dining resto it was a comfortable relaxed atmosphere which was my favourite part, that and the whiskey sours.
I really enjoyed dining at the Yew restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel. I liked the decorations and was pleased that I did not have to wait long for my order. My gluten-free roast beef sandwich was delicious and the salad on the side was also very good. My only complaint was that they put too much roast beef on the sandwich. I intend on returning to this 5 star restaurant as soon as I can.
A dozen oysters, 2 cocktails and 1 dessert was just over $100. The caesar was pretty good – right amount of kick and came with a crispy piece of bacon — but everything else was not very memorable… other than the price tag.
