Birds and the beets is a nice cafe located in gastown with great interior!! I find the coffee to be fair but i do enjoy it for its location and to get some work done. (seats arent that comfy though LOL)

Excellent temperature with smooth foam and well balanced milk to coffee ratio.Sandwich was surprisingly delicious. I wasn’t thinking it would be terrible but it definitely exceeded my expectation for a sandwich at a caf. The veggie sandwich I got had roasted squash, a decent spread of hummus, lovely purple pickled beets (?), apples anda vibrant green pesto. The sandwich looked super appealing and tasted even better. Bread was fresh, beautiful crust and crunch, soft interior. This place is on top of my list for go to cafes in the gastown region. dimsumtrail.wordpress.com
Good sandwiches for lunch and a great open space to gather with a few friends, hang out for the afternoon and enjoy some good food. I enjoy that they change the menu up and the dishes are simple yet flavourful. The price is a little higher than it should be, for lunch servings at least, but as a whole experience, it’s worth it.
Sucha an amazing space! A unique combination of a flower shop and lunch spot. Large open windows allow for great light and an opportunity to people watch on the busy streets of gastown. Their sandwiches are to die for! This is a go to if you are in vancouver
This is the most inviting and beautifully decorated Cafe I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I am so drawn to it and will most certainly be spending a lot more of my afternoons there! Great service, lovely coffee and the space is immaculate. Well done guys!
