Great food, food slow to arrive from kitchen. Food was great, nachos were big and loaded, burger and fries were hot and tasty, and the waitress was very friendly, but it took a very long time for the food to come.
Edit: an update: I’ve been to this place maybe 3 times since and tried 2 more menu items. What a let down!! The quesadilla is awful! Great place for a quick drink but I’ll be skipping it for food in the future.What a great find! Love the atmosphere and decor in this place. A co worker recommended it and it didn’t disappoint me. The beer was delicious and the service was good but the food lacked..I had a steak sandwich and it was slightly overcooked and very garlicky and my salad was extremely over dressed.My co worker had pasta that he said was delicious and perfectly cooked.Definitely would try again but maybe try something other than the steak sandwich.
Not impressed. I found the servers there to be very unprofessional and childish. The food was not very impressive after all the hype. It caters to the younger hipster crowd and they turn a blind eye to seniors. If you like your food cold and thrown together, served by immature, unprofessional tarts? Then that’s the place for you.
Really great food. Probably my favourite place in duncan. Highly recommended.
I have always had a good experience here .Delux food way above the usual pub fare and the beer is exceptional .try the shawnigan ale , and they have a Greek Caesar salad that is a meal in itself .the service is always good ,it is a popular place so sometimes you will wait .Have a beer and relax.Also it is a pub without a tv in every available wall space ,there are E.J.Hughs artwork on the walls and a fireplace in winter.Excellant.
Cool in Duncan. I have been to the Craig St Brew Pub many times since it opened. it is the only place in Duncan that can actually be called hip. More a statement on Duncan I suppose.The only thing I consistently order is the Beef Dip. It is very good with lots of well seasoned tender shaved beef on the nice bun with a not too salty aus jus.The beer is well made and tasty. Just Jakes rest next door shares the kitchen and has a slightly different menu but I prefer the brew pub as it is actually quieter then Just Jakes at off times.
Went for Nachos and beer. Service was slow and they have definatly cut back on the amount of chips on the plate. There was mostly cheeze and other stuff than chips. We complained and the server got nasty so we sent it back but they only added a small handfull of chips. Definatly not what it used to be. Will be going to CVI next time for nachos and chips.
