This is half a review as I’ve never actually been inside the garage.My co worker was grabbing lunch and said he would also grab me something.I’m not gluten free or a veggie so I really did want some meat with my lunch but agreed anyway. I said ‘surprise me’. He brought me back a quiche and well…WOW is all I could say. It was full of all kinds of delicious vegetables and sweet potato, the crust was amazing and the whole thing was a good soEd portion and simply delicious!! Worth a try!
Fantastic operation/impressive. My wife and I did an unofficial survey in the last couple of weeks of the best bakeries in Seattle, Portland, La Connor, Paulsbo, and Port Townsend. You folks in Duncan should know that you have by far the best bakery compared to the best of the above places. The quality of the baked goods, variety, price and service at the Garage blew the others away. Congratulations to Susan, who is the owner. You have great staff, but they are that way because of great leadership. They obviously care about their work and many have been there for a few years so they like working there. Nice to see when the Canadians come out on top……..My wife and myself come there for lunch whenever we can. It never disappoints unless we get there too late and there are no more sticky buns….. ha haNo crap, I mean this. And they are not paying me to say so..Sue/GaryBanff, Alberta
I paid for that?!. I went to the garage on December 29,2014 and ordered the veggie burger aka a mushroom on a bun.. Scratch that HALF the bun. Looked so sad. They also messed up my fathers order forgetting half of it all together with no actions to correct their mistake.Actually the times I’ve been to the garage preciously have been great. This time was awful. Actually awful. Sorry guys but I wouldn’t recommend you to anyone visiting Duncan. Also, might want to move your lunch signage to a more appropriate area.
Best service in town. Great service and amazing treats and meals. The breakfast bunwich is great and you can even get it gluten free. Only bad thing is they don’t have any meat on the menu
It’s Awesome.. I go to the Duncan Garage regularly and love it. The food is always fresh, flavourful and healthy. The Canadiano’s (americano’s) are fantastic and the service is always friendly, enthusiastic and caring. It is an upbeat and busy place with a eclectic group of customers and vibrant energy. A GREAT PLACE TO EAT. My wife and I have been frequenting the Duncan Garage Cafe and Bakery for eleven years and thoroughly enjoy the friendly service and energetic and happy staff. We always find the food fabulous, the menu incredible and the atmosphere warm and friendly. It is one of our favourite places to eat! Bob and Jackie
Great food but the service is the pits. I have been frequenting this place for over 2 years now and I do so for the food. Great gluten free, vegan and vegetarian choices. But lately I just can’t stand the service. I know it is tough to please all the customers and it is very busy but would it hurt you to smile and help your customers. You barely acknowledge us and give a smile. Your rudeness from several servers was atrocious. It really was my last time in the cafe yesterday. Despite your fantastic food.
