Been here several times in the last few years and finally thought I would write a review. It’s pretty simple. Hip and trendy looking place, very expensive OK food. I’m generally one to order the more inexpensive things on the menu as I tend to eat out quite often. A base model Mike Burger doesn’t even come with tomato and lettuce, and any other burger on the menu is around $15. Wow! I can eat on the sunny, ocean view deck at the Cow Cafe and order a burger with a hand made patty and all the fixins for $10. I know food is expensive and all, but I swear Mr Mikes has the most expensive burgers in town, and the patty isn’t even that thick. But enough of my burger rant, on to other things. Last time I ordered steak it was very overcooked. They offered to cook me a new one, but bytime they would be finished my party would have been done their dinner already… They also didn’t seem to hip on giving me my meal for free when I declined. The steak was very thin.On with THE GOOD.LOVE their appies. Steak bites are to die for and the mushroom caps are great as well. GREAT sized beers available. I want more than a pint and less than a pitcher… perfect! Service is always great and quick too.I can’t really think of a reason to come back here. Everything is very expensive, everything is an addon and I can get food just as good and better in many other places in Duncan.I think Mr Mikes needs to either lower their prices or tremendously increase the quality of their food… but judging by the image they go for – a hip casual place to get steak and drinks, that isn’t a place where people go to spend 5 star pricing. Check out the Genoa Bay Cafe if you want to spend some big coin. I also think they need to work on customer satisfaction rather than strictly the bottom line, which kind of plays in with the pricing too.Just my take. Someone who eats out LOTS.

She had prime rib cooked medium rare to perfection, garlic mash and veggies are a good addition.. Fabulous!!Can’t wait for another day trip south . So we can come back.
I wanted to edit my review and give them more credit. I have since been here 2 more times and both times i have great service, delicious drinks and very good food. The fish taco’s are really delicious and the steaks, while not as nice as the Keg are still very good. Could have used more seasoning on mine but it was cooked very well. Not bad, just a generic chain restaurant really. Decent food, good service, not anything to complain about but nothing to rave about either.

Great food love the burgers and appies ate all delicious… We got horrible service ONE TIME and the management dealt with it right away and we got reimbursed our whole bill (over $150) with gift cards to come back, we did go back and were treated great! We got served by the floor manager himself and free drinks! We have been back many times and have never had a problem (maybe someone was just having a bad day?)
We had a staff Christmas party at Mike’s Steakhouse. They put us out in a private area, with the fireplaces going, and it was really nice and warm out there. There was about 24 of us. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. Shaun the waiter, was so much fun, efficient, and so pleasant. What a nice time. We want to thank Shaun so much for making the party so much fun with such great service. And all the great cooks. Thank you again.
Never disappointed!. By far my husbands first choice for a night out – especially thursdays after 8 when everything on their quick bites menu is half price – which includes appies galore (you AVE to try their shrimp stuffed shrooms and panko shrimp), mike burgers, chicken burgers and even their steak sandwiches…
