Poor food. Went to Old Fork Restaurant and as a vegetarian they had nothing to offer but meat dishes and did not suggest the chef be creative like almost all places I have been to over too many years to count. Then went into the River Rock, part of the hotel establishment, and had a veggie burger. When told it came with a white bun I requested whole wheat or brown bread instead. Then the server brought it to me with the white bun and said the kitchen had nothing to substitute with. Unbelievable. They both have the same kitchen. Never have I heard of a restaurant not having some sort of brown alternative. They serve breakfast, it is a hotel, and all you get is white! It was not a very good veggie burger by any standard. My wife had the crab cakes over Caesar salad. Only two crab cakes and they and the salad were poor. Would not go back or recommend at all.

First of all this place swaps staff every few weeks it seems. They’ve replaced the knowledgeable, outgoing young ladies with guys who clearly have never served before and have no bartending knowledge. its always hit or miss with the menu, and the service. Not a good scene.
Food. We have just returned from eating at The River Rock Bar & Grill in Duncan. BC. We had the Valentine’s Day special menu. The food was excellent and so was the presentation. Well worth the money.
So pleased. Great improvement with staff! Was in friday evening to my surprise newer staff were hired and the service was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed our appies and entrees. We will continue to dine here on weekends if the staff remains the same
Not a grill. Was here today and they use the hotel kitchen. How is that a bar and grill. I thought the prices were a little high , this is a bar only. We left without ordering.
River Rock Bar + Grill. The new owners here have really done a great job refreshing the place. The menu is fantastic and you can see TV’s from every spot. Bartenders and servers are eager to please and the food is outstanding! Great prices and a great selection of beers on tap to boot.
