We had a fantastic brunch at Terroir Kitchen. The menu was creative, not run of the mill, and everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. I had a smoked sable fish potato pancake with poached eggs on top and a wonderful apple and fennel salad which was so refreshing. A friend had a venison dish with poached eggs. Again, the flavours were wonderful and the meal so tasty. The service was warm, friendly and attentive and the ambience was very comfortable. We look forward to returning for a lunch or dinner experience. All three of us were very impressed with this wonderful local bistro and the innovative chef. Updated (Dinner, March 2018)We visited Terroir for dinner and had a lovely meal. The share plates are a great way to experience a number of menu items. We started with the grilled octopus which was tender and flavourful, followed by the daily risotto, which was creamy and delicious. We also had a salmon dish that was beautifully cooked and not overdone. The roasted brussel sprouts were fantastic. The service was attentive, but they did not hover. All in all, it was a very pleasant meal and we look forward to returning.
