The service and the food are excellent, must try their mimosa and the truffle fries, and pasta, especially the dessert. The crepe is the best I have tasted.
This is one of our favourite brunch places. It is conveniently located on Marine Drive in West Vancouver; perfect for a good meal before or after a hike:)As the name of the restaurant suggests, many of the brunch items include truffles! Below were what we ordered:West Van Omelette ($14)Very hearty omelette with zucchini, spinach, red pepper, baby spinach, tomatoes, three cheeses (the most prominent one I tasted was mozzarella), and herbs. The outside was lightly brown, and the inside was still warm and moist. Omelette orders also came with toasts, roasted potatoes, and a choice of ham/sausage/turkey sausage. The turkey sausage we had was healthier, and it did not compromise on flavour!Truffle Crepe ($16)In contrast to the omelette, the crepe was much more delicate. This dish smelled amazing and tasted even better because of the shaved black truffle and truffle mushroom cream sauce. *Drools* On the side was a refreshing salad with a simple vinaigrette. Out of curiosity, we chose buckwheat crepe instead of white crepe. Compared to the latter, the buckwheat crepe had a bit of a powdery texture as you bite into it.
Came for brunch on BC day and although the food was good, it was very expensive and the service was extremely slow which can be understandable with the tiny kitchen but we were still charged a service charge with poor service ): I had the West Coast benny with smoked salmon on a croissant. Taste of the hollandaise was very good and not too rich and my egg was perfect but my friend’s was way overdone. Asparagus and ham buckwheat crepe was good but presentation was below par. Seeing pictures, it seemed to be a beautiful flower but mine was much like a pita roll which was disappointing.
Scallop Spinach Salad. Beautiful salad dressed with a light bacon flavoured dressing15 Dec, 2014Truffle Crepe. Amazing truffle Crepe with three cheeses and spinach
Very disappointing. Lousy food, lousy service. Will not go back. Ever.
Very nice. Came here for father’s day brunch. My son and I both enjoyed the truffle omelette. The service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant is small but the food is wonderful. Attending the Porsche club event is an added bonus.
