Best Fish n Chips in White Rock. Mike and family have been hosting for many years and have consistently had the best fries and halibut. Tasty, crispy, not too thick batter and crispy fires home made by their 100 year old grandma (not sure how old, but she’s always there pressing the potatoes)Great tartar sauce

Simply the Best. Being originally from the UK we searched for many years for good Fish & Chips, Salty’s, Docks, Moby Dick and many many others. Now we can stop, we never have Fish & Chips from anywhere else – Halibut & Chips is perfect – light crispy batter, superb white fish and the chips are the best. Why people would line up at Moby Dick next door and have greasy tasteless food I cannot understand. Just get past the outdoor facade and go inside – you won’t find super decor but you will get a nice glass of wine or beer and the best Fish &Chips outside the UK!!!!!!!!!! Plus plenty of alternatives for the kiddies.
We had an excellent dinner here once we got by the huge lineup that Moby Dick’s fish and chips. Coney Island seafood is right next door and we walked in and got a table right away. We had the halibut and chips and it was hot, fresh and fast to the table. Even the fries were cooked well they were crisp and not soggy. My niece had the chicken strips and she said they were excellent! The only negative was that they were out of wine.
Love the chicken strips. Not really a fish lover so I can not comment on it but that’s not why i come here. I love a good chicken strip and this place has by far the best I think. They are large cuts of meat battered to perfection and covered with panko crumbs. Then fried just right not till the meat is tough and chewy but tender and soft by far my favourite of any restaurant.
Halibut?. Its not halibut there was a write up about this place saying the halibut was flounder what a rip off!!!!!!
