Randomly decided to try this place and it wasnt bad. The venue is nice, but the floors are a bit dirty (eg: utensils and leftover food on the floor). The food was great. Our waitress was friendly, but the hostess was a rude.
I’ve been here a few times now and it always comes away overall as ‘Meh’. The service is great, we were seated quickly, which for the first time was a party of 10 with no reservation. The view is amazing, the dcor is rustic and gives a good vibe. The food is….I want to say good but it doesn’t really stand out to me. The Seafood hot pot had a good taste but the noodles were thin and inedible, Ihoped leaving them till the end in the hot NOT spicysoup would help but they were hard, perhaps they were undercooked or cooked previously and left to dry out. The crab cakes were good; well cooked and tasty. The lobster ravioli was good, it didn’t taste fresh (lobster or pasta) but was lovely. The Pecan crusted steelhead tasted awful, it was too sweet and tasted like pecan fish pie, it’s a horrible combination. The Samosa Poppers were okay, you couldn’t tell there was sirachia in it and they chutney was bland for a chutney. The Sangria was good as was their selection of beers. The view is good and the food is decent. You should probably at least try it, as they seem to have good and bad days.
