Hidden Gem. Finally decided to check out this Richmond hot spot for lunch. The line up out the door was an indicator that I was in for something special. Tried the Mojo Chicken bowl, and Hok Pok bowl. Both were delicious, a great take on the current Pok craze.NO photos to share on this because the food was devoured before I could snap some pictures. Will be back.

Not a spot for spicy eaters, burgers are not so great but the fries are good. Sriracha chicken burger didn’t make me happy but the crispy chicken was okay.

I just started working in the area and was surprised to find this little gem tucked away off Viking Way. I love the freshness of everything, and their Sriracha chicken burger is quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever consumed.Their deli on the other side is great if you’re in more of a rush: great sandwiches, wraps, soups etc., and some tasty cookies!LOVE this place! Just wish it was open on the weekend so I could take friends to this place I keep gabbing on about! 🙂

Food was good. Nice rustic appeal and also good lunch selection. I had the veggie burger just to try something different I was happy with the taste and texture. Bun was fresh and I really like the sauce. Beers were surprisingly a little on the warm side. But they do have four winds on tap which I did like!

A little bit disappointed.I have been following Boy with a Knife on IG for awhile and was super excited to visit the still very new location.Space was casual and there are actually two entrances, one to the Grill space which is a sit down restaurant concept, the other is more for grab and go without any service but does still have seating. A friend and I both ordered the grilled chicken fig and brie on ciabatta. We both felt that the sandwich needs more work. 1- bread wasn’t fresh. It wasnt grilled or heated enough either so it just felt cold and semi stale. It was also very thick, which interrupted the other flavours inside the sandwich. I ended up taking off the top to balance it out.2- the brie, fig puree and caramelized onions ratio was way off. There was a big slab of fig on both sides of the bread, small traces of onions, and bits of brie here and there. 3- I don’t want to jump to conclusions but I think the fries are freezer fries…Overall the experience and food was average. I did enjoy the kale and feta salad on the side though and I appreciate that it was chopped for convenience sakes. I think I was just disappointed from following the owners catering adventures and skills on IG, then coming to the restaurant and discovering average dishes. dimsumtrail.wordpress.com

Excellent little cafe. Also ate at the grill recently and was very happy. Tucked away in a little industrial complex, I’m really happy to have such great sandwiches, soups and salads all really close to my work. Will try their breakfast sandwiches soon as well.
