Went for Omakase served by sushi chef. Very quality sashimi and seasonal varieties. Sushi is good too. Always tempted to go again for nice sushi sashimi. Rolls are okay, the nori is not crispy probably due to the heat and humidity in the restaurant. And yes, the temperature is hot inside!
Mediocre food, but has the best black sesame ice-cream. Was excited to try this place as I’ve heard good things about the food. We ordered the sashimi half order of tuna, salmon, hamachi and scallop (I don’t think any of the fish tasted very fresh). The seafood soup was too salty and lack of ‘seafood’, I only saw two pieces of clam, one piece of shrimp and the soup had sand in it from the clams. Also tried the asari buttered clams which were disgusting – there was sand in the clams, too salty and the clams were not fresh (left a weird after taste in my mouth). Also tried the alaska roll with the seared salmon and avocado on top, again was not impressed, the avocado tasted burnt and the salmon was bland. The only surprising tasty thing was the black sesame ice cream that ended the meal – that was tasty with real pieces of black sesame in it. I don’t think I will be coming back here. porkninjas.ca
NOT honest waiter service. No live sea urchin and trick a customer come to their dinner. Serve a pre-open sea urchin to trick a live sea urchin. Each piece of a differece color of sea urchin, is come from a same live sea urchin? Each piece of live sea urchin have a smell from refrigerator?
Brutal. Soggy sushi, burnt gyoza, terrible service. I’d never go back especially with so many other options close-by.
8/10. Called in for take out the lady on the phone was very nice and as well were the staff when i walked in. food is good but a little soggy
The seafood is fresh and tasty, but their deep frying is very lacking
