This chicken joint surprised me. Made-to-order halal chicken which is flavoured nicely with South Asian spices… interesting taste experience for sure! Service was so-so and the decor of the place was typical for a (I’m guessing) primarily take-out business. They also serve pizza and wings. Overall… not bad, not bad at all
I would need to venture into Red Rooster once more for an updated review. Yesterday Anita, Jason and I thought about getting friend chicken, either at Red Rooster or Cocoru. We decided on Red Rooster. Standing outside looking at the menu we decided to get 10 pieces of fried chicken. Upon walking in the guy behind the counter looks at us and decides to take off into the back. Waiting and waiting, no one came back out. We decided to leave to Cocoru instead. They lost our money and my business. I guess he doesn’t like Chinese people.
