Usually happy with the place. Today I ordered the Tuna Sandwich special with soup and asked for cheese. Not only did I get processed singles cheddar but charged and additional $1.00 per piece. In addition, the two slices of bread it was made on were two different sizes. A meal which was to cost $7.25 cost me almost $10. SO much for a Tuesday special. Not impressed.
Sandwich tree is a great, friendly, lunch cafe for dine in or take out, that always has 4 or 5 ready made hot lunch specials. The food is consistently yummy. Their sandwiches and grilled food is always great, and freshly made in 5 minutes.

Pay the Same Price for Smaller Portion – Really Unfair!. The customer ahead of me ordered a fried rice with chicken and vegetable combo. The foods looks nice so I ordered the same, but my portions were much smaller – perhaps they saw me as a small female. Regardless a good restaurant should be fair to all its customers. Staffs are friendly.I find the foods are too salty for me.
HUGE improvement. This place has improved immensely since being taken over by new owners. The menu is great, the food is fresh and delicious and the prices are back to reasonable levels. I work around the corner and look for excuses to eat out for lunch.
