Got seated at 8:40pm, ordered around 8:45pm, waited until 9:30pm then the server told us they were out of wings. We kept our cool and ordered something else. After 15 minutes, we were told that the other items we ordered, we’re also sold out. This was horrible service; very disrespectful of our time.
My friends and I had dinner here tonight. Reservations aren’t allowed past 6pm so we got arrived a little before then. The place is huge, I was surprised. It looked like a typical bar but it was clean and didn’t look old. My friends are I ordered appies first: nachos, calamari, and wings. I enjoyed them all! My fave would be the calamari. The wongs would be my least fave. I didn’t like the taste of the meat (the flavoring was fine). We then ordered our own dishes. I had the Shark burger. It was delicious! I wasn’t a fan of their fries ’cause it tastes like it had some sort of pepper on it. Overall, it was a great experience. It’s a little pricey though. The service was great! I will probably be back in the future!
Came here on Friday thinking it is still wings night because that’s what it said on their website. When I arrived, it said please seat yourself so I thought it was strange because it was quite empty on a Friday night. Got seated and took a look at the menu. They changed the menu. Before the menu was in a black leather cover and was in 2 sections. It had a high class feeling but their new menu was small and just on a piece of paper. It gave me the feeling that I’m at a pub. So I ordered a pound of salt and pepper wings and a Bellini. The server told me they recently changed their menu so no more wings night on Friday and I said okay. When the food was served, the portion of the wings was definitely smaller than before. It didn’t taste as good as before. My friend didn’t like her wings either. It was a disappointment for our dinner. I used to like this place a lot but I will give it another try. If the food still taste the same, I guess I will need to find myself a new restaurant 🙁
One apply, one drink, one hour. That’s 10 minutes of eating and drinking, and 50mins wait. If sitting around for a better part of an hour with your thumb up your ass is what you’re into, this place is for you! Ambiance is loud and obnoxious. I added one extra star for the wine menu. Not recommended if you have a life;)
So its been a regular thing for Wings night nowadays for me. Usually drop by on Wednesday after working out at Steve Nash with the girls. Wings special is $0.35/per wing in a batch of 10s in addition a purchase of a drink (could be non-alcoholic). First time when we came here, we noticed the menu states the wings are over roasted, but according to the waitress the wings are deep fried, and yes the wings do come deep fried. I wonder when it was ever over roasted? The wings are pretty good, but I find each week I come they are slightly different in taste eg siracha honey, sometimes the it is spicy with a hint of siracha or its sweet with a hint of siracha. Asked the waitress what is the most popular flavour and she told us salt and pepper. I got an order of the salt and pepper and boy were they salty! My boyfriend and friend even washed their wings in their iced water and it was still salty! Guess that is how they get you to buy more drinks! Service were meh. The Asian waitress who serves the non bar side rarely comes back to check on us. We never get our refills and takes a long time until we get our bill. The blonde who serves at the bar side is way better. She always brings a vase of our drinks on the side in case we wanted more and she was not around! Be aware that if you have a party of more than 5, there is a gratuity of 18% already!
Drinks are bad, forgot our orders, rude service. How bad could this place be??
