Looks to be authentic Italian/Greek food but very rarely is there any flavours. I’ve had better and could probably make better at home. The staff is nice but for the amount you pay and the quality you get. No thanks. And their idea of garlic bread is bread, not toasted – thrown in a bag with two butter packs.. Ok. Please maybe add some salt & pepper with the pasta too.

When I first started dating my now husband in 2011 we found this place. We loved it and were always here on Fridays/Saturdays we even go to know the staff. It was a great option because I love greek food and my husband loves italian. We got the best of both words and I don’t know why people are so wierded out by the two cuisine option. Its not that big of a deal.Either way we have not gone here in months. Since about May 2015 the food quality has gone down incredibly. The salads are not as fresh, the pasta sauces are watery and the portion sizes have gone down. A large pasta was impossible to finish before and now its do-able if you are hungry enough and not much more then small size. Additionally, the prices have gone up which is acceptable due to inflation and food costs going up. But to increase cost and reduce portion was infuriating. One time comes to mind when we were there with friends and two of us ordered the same dish but one was large one was small. When they came out the large order was literally the same size as the small with maybe a scoop of pasta more. When we asked they seemed to didn’t know what we were talking about since we have been there previously and they knew us. This was the final straw with my husband and we haven’t really been back since. This place would get a glowing 5 start if they maintained everything we fell in love with in 2011 but sadly its not.

Please save yourself food poisoning and make yourself something at home, This place is f***ing disgusting, dirty plates, left over food I picked off my plate and there was green sh*t in my fork! The food made me puke, the staff don’t wash their hands (I’ve worked here, I’ve seen it) one lady would touch dirty mops and dirty dishes then go chop lettuce and make peoples mealsThis place is a gross, cheap hell hole

I have been dining here for years!!! From the days of just when it was just Amorosa. It has a great neighborhood vibe. The staff are friendly and it’s great to see the turn around is not high. It’s always nice to see a familiar face. The portion size are very generous. So bring your appetite and good company.

Great pasta and Greek food. Great place to have Italian and Greek food in same place plus great service and friendly people. Must try…our family loves this place.

Warmth & funky feel is gone. This was a great neighbourhood restaurant. Expansion is always tricky – this one didn’t work well. The old Amorosa had a small bar & kitchen – felt intimate & homey. The old bar area is empty & dark. Some lighting would help. The new greek side was good on it’s own but now it’s one big box. The food is the same – so if like large portions – it’s still fine. Alas, we are now in search of a small, great Italain restaurant – any suggestions?

Lynn. Our group of friends always went to Amarosa’s for our birthday because the food was good and you got $10.00 off the birthday persons dinner. Last night I went there with my friend for her special birthday. We told the waitress that it was her birthday and she said we will get a free house salad because it was her birthday. We told her it should be $10.00 off the meal. She said she would ask the owner about this and get back to us. A couple of minutes later the other waitress came to our table and said no we do not get $10.00 off because that was changed yesterday. We only get a salad. It was still on their web site so she should have honored it but she said no so since they did not care about business we left and went to the Spagetti House and had a wonderful dinner. Will never go back to Amorosa Pasta House again (just out of principle). They should have said they would honor it this time since it was still on their web site but never again. Too bad, so sad Amorosa but I am passing on your awful customer service atticks.
