Amorosa has a quaint environment. The decor is not as bright as I would have wanted but it gives off a cosy vibe. There are beautiful images on the wall. I thought it was a full Italian restaurant but it is Italian and Greek combined.To start my friend and I shared the caprese insalata and the hummus with pita. The hummus was one of the best hummus’ I have ever tasted. It was quite dense with chickpeas and had a garlic flare. The caprese insalata would have tasted better if the tomatoes they used were not as ripe. I found the ripeness of the tomatoes made the salad a bit soggy overall.For a main dish I had the cartoccio with a cream red sauce. It was super tasty. There was a lot of seafood in my dish so I didn’t feel cheated. Though I did not receive the spinach tortellini I asked for, it tasted good regardless. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well.The only downfall is the service. The amount of time it took for us to get our food was quite slow. I found it hard to get a hold of our server who appeared to be a little scattered at the best of times. Otherwise the price is good and I would definitely return.
