Our family enjoyed it! Great service, they were always refilling our tea and clearing dishes. Food was pretty good. We had gyoza, bento boxes and chicken teriyaki. Everyone was happy with their meal

Favourite Burnaby sushi. This is my favourite local sushi restaurant. I don’t find the wait times to be beyond what is usual in this style of restaurant in Burnaby and the food has always been excellent quality. I’ve always gotten fantastic salmon and salmon roe and there’s a good blend of traditional rolls and the fancier ones with cream cheese and whatnot. You do need to get up and go to the front when you want to pay your bill rather than waiting for it to be brought to you.27 Sep, 2014Stuffed Eggplant. Gyoza dumpling filling in a tempura eggplant with lots of fish flakes and green onions and gyoza sauce on the side. A little longer to wait for but so tasty.

Good Food, very reasonable price and great service!. We love to order take out or din in at Osaka Island at least twice a month.the sushi is good especially they are using wild salmon (not the farm salmon); also they have many creative rolls that you can’t order from any other restaurant.the cooked food is great eg: scallop or pawn wrapped with bacon; tempura; eel on rice…etc are my favorite

Great Service. Great Food. Great Price.. This is the place to go for quality food with affordable prices and friendly service. Visiting from Edmonton, the server was very hospitable once I entered the restaurant. Each dish I order was at it’s highest quality and enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Vancouver! Also Their teriyaki chicken is to die for and must-be ordered every time with their housemade teriyaki sauce and their crispy chicken!

Enjoyable. Despite living so close, we only went to Oaska Island today. It was quiet in the restaurant at 1 pm on a Sunday afternoon. The menu was extensive, we are no sushi experts, we just know what we like. Rainbow had a Bento box. California Roll with Beef Teriyaki and Tempura. It also came with rice and Miso soup and salad and an orange. I was huge and a good price. Shannon loved it, said it was the best tempura she has had. The Teriyaki sauce was not too sweet and the meat was very tender. The rolls very good, with a tight roll and just the right size. They have a long list of lunch specials. I chose chicken teriyaki with tempura and ordered an avocado roll with it. The rolls were a bit big for me, but tasted very good. I too liked the tempura. The chicken was tender but a did not have that crisp outside texture and had too much cabbage with it for my tastes. Service was friendly. We will go back for sure.

Good food and service. We enjoy the food, the in house service, delivery and the price.

Totally blahhh!!! Though copious amounts of wasabi helped make the dishes a bit more palatable
