A FAN FROM 2008-2014+. My family & I moved here from N.S. in summer 2007 and made several attempts to ‘find’ our newest pizza place. We tried Domino’s, Paderno’s and a few other places in the Esquimalt/View Royal & even Fort Street Ali Babba’s which was our favourite but proximity was bad and took forever to get to us. One day at a red light on Head & Esquimalt Road we saw Sarpinos. 30 minutes later we walked out feeling like we’d made a great pizza FIND & found a very sweet group of people with Pizza as the common denominator! TASTING the pizza at home was truly an ‘ahhhhhhhh’ moment and now although our family has moved (3 times!) we continue to have the pizza cook (who knows our voices & our usual orders – even from months prior!) pay full attention to what we DO want on our pizza to what NOT to include…..she is phenomenal and ALWAYS smiling through the phone) The PIZZA Sauce is EXCELLENT and the ingrediants are always tasty, I’m not a meat eater so flavor is super important to me. One day we tried the homemade garlic sauce they offer as an side to the pizza – we were hooked – now if its from Sarprinos its got 4 garlic sauces along for the ride too! Good value, once in awhile a ‘so-so’ pizza but 90 out of 100 are top notch. A word to the ppl complaining on here – courtesy and politeness really can make a difference when speaking to the staff – honeslty, I can attest – they really DO TRY.
Vegetarian Friendly. We tried Sarpino’s for dinner and absolutely loved it. They use fresh vegetables toppings which is always a bonus, and I must say, I love their dipping sauce on the side (I got the italian garlic). The Pesto Veggie has an amazing aroma, we’ll definitely get that one again. Delivery time is alright (~45 mins) which is an understandable turn around for a rush hour.
I just received the WORST customer service from the manager. I called to inform that they sent the wrong pizza and it was a different price then the manager quoted on the phone. She informed me she had enough customers and doesn’t need to deal with ridiculous customers like me. Worst service ever! Will not be using this ever pizza place ever again!
Loaded with toppings!. We ordered the tropical Hawaiian & NY Deli as a late night delivery. Their sauce is AMAZING and their crust is delicious. The sauce has a perfect balance between herbs and sweet. I would recommend asking for their specials as they do have carry out discounts. We will be back for sure!
Not impressed. We called for pizza delivery, the guy brings the pizza, I handle the credit card, he answers his cell phone and allegedly has the wrong pizzas. Says I will be back in 5 mins with your pizzas, there has been a mix up. The phone rings, it’s some woman who wants us to take some other persons order and after being told a number of times that I do not want someone else’s order and now want my money back!!! OMG! Who phones and tries to get you to agree to someone else’s order??? She then told me that I would have to wait for 45 mins for our order and hung up on me. Do NOT recommend this restaurant!!!
Absolutely Delicious!. Great & friendly customer service that make pizza with care & love! My favorites are Pesto Lovers & Greek special. The garlic dipping sauce is a MUST – oh Yummy!!
Soggy. I ordered pizza from this location and it was quick service but when i got it home it was soggy and the crust was all wet. when i phoned to let them know they tried saying i took to long to pick it up ( i was there 10 min after i made the phone call, when they told me to be there) then when i got transferred to a manager she just said she will put less scauce on next time i come, and did not offer to fix the problem at all! i will not return to this location espically at the price i was paying…ill be going back to dominoes
