EPIC PIZZA. I was very impressed when I first tried this particular Sarpinos pizza. I know it is a chain or franchise and I know the last Sarpinos i tried from cook and pandora was truly meagre pizza. Although i am a dedicated fan of pizza and I can enjoy even 7/11 pizza on the occasion, i distinctly remember the old Sarpinos in cook street as a last resort 24 hours pizza joint to be only contacted in true desperation. However I tried the walk in/Pick up special from the Esquimalt location which is a really good deal, 1 large Cheese Pizza (the deal is for a large pepperoni but I asked for just cheese) for $10. And I tell you wow, top shelf stuff. A good thinish crust with a nice thick layer of mozza and cheddar cheese and a good sauce with a good balance of sweet and salty. It reminded me of the Cheese pizza at romeos.Thank you Esquimalt Saprinos you are Top Notch.

Disguisting – Buyer Beware!. My pizza (which took over an hour to get to my place on a tuesday night) was raw and burnt at the same time, my 3 year old makes food like this. We couldn’t eat it. While I’ve had good pizza in the past, this was enough to write-off Sarpino’s for good. I found that when I made a complaint it was like I had done something wrong, I had to jump through hoops and frankly it only reconfirmed what a terrible place this is. Clearly this company has made some bad management and service delivery decisions. Oh well, there are many great pizza places in Victoria. The excuse I was given for the bad pizza was that they were delivering out of their service area to cover the move of another location and therefor this damages their quality. If you can’t do something well, don’t do it. Don’t use your poor decisions as an excuse for poor quality and service, just admit you are wrong, appologize and solve the issue.
