Disappointing. I went to FFC for our normal family dinner ( we have been going for a few years when the M -in -L comes to town) and normally I don’t like writing reviews because I think they’re mostly made up by people who don’t eat there. But this time I will. My biggest beef, is attitude… they owner/frier needs to lighten up. take a few happy pills mate. Second, the fish doen’t need to be deep fried until the batter is breaks off in your hand and of course then makes its seem bigger than it is. Third and last your pricing for value…. needs to be addressed. This was not value or fair… to some it might be, not to this family.
Best burgers in victoria, worst fries in victoria.. Their burgers are always excellent, I’ve honestly never had a better burger in victoria. That being said, their fries are consistently…terrible. They are not crispy at all, and seem undercooked. I have been going to this place for years, but after the last few times I’m reluctant to go again. I really hope they fix their fry problem, because I love going there!
Love the food here! I’ve tried many of the items and loved them all but the cod and chip dinner is by far my favorite – great price for the amount of food you get. The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming and having your food wrapped up in newspaper the classic way always makes it special!

Great prices. I used to go very often about five years ago and it was always great, went again recently the fries were bland but still a good deal for the cheap prices.I would go back again if in the area
So rude. The fish and chips where what you would expect and at a decent price. But i will never return after the way the redheaded woman treated a new employee, it was beyond rude, it made myself and the other customers extremely uncomfortable.
Awesome!. We found this gem of a place last Friday night. We highly recommend! Grab some fish and chips and go sit by the water. Perfect location..yummy food!
