Very good food authentic pizza, delicious meatballs and roasted vegetables. The locally made gelato was a great finish. The staff was very responsive and friendly. Although the place was hopping busy service was great. The atmosphere was right from the Mediterranean here on Canadas west coast. The chili oil was also very good.
Visiting from Alberta. Came here because of the great reviews from the locals. We loved it. Great pizza baked in wood fired oven. Service with a smile. They even locked our bikes up for us.
By far my favorite pizza place in Victoria… Haven’t found anything like it anywhere else actually. The thin, fire baked crust and super fresh ingredients are sooo good every time! Every person I’ve brought to the cook street location is always as impressed as I am!
Pizzeria Prima Strada. bring back your non-cow-dairy cheese!!! People who don’t eat (or are allergic to) cow dairy also like pizza (in case you didn’t know this). The fact that you previously offered amazing cheeses such as pecorino romano and buffalo mozzarella but have now removed them from your menu is very, very disappointing. Do the right thing, put the buffalo and the sheep back on the menu! I’m counting on you…
We are never disappointed with any of their pizzas whether we eat in or take out. The Cook Street location is a neighbourhood gem. We always take our out of town visitors there. Service is always prompt and friendly.
True Italian pizza crafted like they do in Naples in a wood fired oven. I’ve had a few different ones but my favorite is the mushroom. Fun atmosphere, terrific wait staff and pizza you’ll come back for. Buon Appetito. 🙂
I think this might have been the best pizza I’ve ever had. It was a special for the night with olive oil, thyme, pancetta, a few kinds of cheese. They let me add arugula at no extra cost. Yum!
