This coffee shop recently switched ownership and has defiantly gone down hill since. None of the regular staff are left and it seems like a kaoitic mess. No one seems to know what they are doing and the service is slow and terrible. Sad to see such a well run place turn so bad so fast .
Still Won’t Send. I assume you work at Serious! I do not go to coffee shops, and never have. I sent some guests to a newly opened breakfast place on Douglas St. recently, and was very surprised at their remarks. They were dinged $35.00 for brekky for 2!! Guess what? Their prices are not even listed on their menu/brochure. That particular establishment will go the same course as Sauce, amongst others. Hey! Victoria caters to tourists, and believe me, they do not fancy being ripped off. No pricing on the sandwich board is still a very poor way to do business…….B.T.13 Apr, 2013Very Rude To Customers. I phoned Serious Coffee (on Menzies St.) a few weeks back to make a small suggestion and found the person to be very rude and dismissive. I suggested they put the prices on their outdoor sandwich board, and was told that all such establishments omit the prices. I asked her why, and was abruptly told that she did not have time for my questions. Fine!! I happen to be working with a central tourist reservation system for hotels and motels on southern Van. Island. When asked if there are any coffee shops in the immediate area???Need I go on?? Also, I must say that this has confirmed what many elderly James Bay residents have told me in the past…..Certainly not hiding behind anything, Mr.Barry Tateham Victoria
