I had the full Greek Creamy Kale Salad for $12 …deliciously seasoned with all natural cashew/almond dressing and included delicate variey of fresh, organic baby greens, sprouts …and…sooo good… feta cheese and black olives.BEST salad I ever had! AND very congenial staff ! So glad I discovered this little GEM of a place! I’ll be back!
Disappointed. Heard wonders online about their shrimp and avocado sandwich…tried it today with the seafood chowder and it was very very very bad to not say disgusting. Don’t order the rice, it’s for people with no taste buds…
Never have ingredients…. The last 6 times (or more) that I have gone there to order a Goddess Salad they have been out of their house made pink sauerkraut, and two of those times they have also been out of sprouts. It’s okay to be out of ingredients every once in a while, but every time? 3 of those times I was not even told they were out as I was ordering, just found out when it did not appear on my salad. That just does not seem like good business. I keep paying the full price for the salad only to find out I am not get what I am actually ordering. I like the food a lot though when it is made properly.
Get a quickie!! Who doesn’t like a quickie in the am?. Delicious! I was never a fan of breakfast sandwiches until i went to hot and cold! outstanding!! Owner chef operated business are always the best, especially when the owner hires chefs that are passionate about what they do. I love your food and can’t wait to return! Curry soup is my fave!!
Loved it.. Had the vegan almond cream sandwich. Totally delicious. The sandwich was full of fresh, crunchy vegetables, the almond cream was so rich and flavourful it was almost like cheese, and the sandwich came on fluffy delicious focaccia. I’ll definitely be back.
The food looks, smells and tastes amazing! Great atmosphere an the staff are super nice. Well worth the visit.
Do yourself a favor at eat here!. The Hot and Cold Cafe is mine and my friends favorite! The staff is super friendly and wonderful! The food is amazing, soups, sandwiches and salads, some of the best in Victoria. They make their focaccia bread fresh in house and serve all the sandwiches on it. My favorite menu items would have to be the baked brie sandwich, yellow curry coconut soup and the goddess salad. The prices are very reasonable and fair too. This place is amazing and I love it so much! Highly recommended to anyone!
