First of all, the food was good. I got beef wrap and falafel platter. The falafel platter was really good, falafel made fresh on the spot. The wrap was fulfilling as well with fresh ingredient. However, I kind of felt uncomfortable when the server asked me many personal questions. I think he was trying to be friendly but for me it was a bit too much.
I love the Lebanese chicken wrap here! It’s a bit messy but it’s hefty and I always eat it really fast, so so delicious! The staff is super friendly, always the same young man with a big smile when I go there for lunch, which is often.
Falafel is a Bad Joke. Seriously if you’re going to bother, at least try to do it right. When I got a wrap here what I got for nearly $10 was a small helping of chicken and falafels made from premade powder, which had been sitting for a while, and were heated in a microwave. That’s a terrible way to make falafel, and lots of places do it better for the same price. Al Basha on Broadway comes to mind.
Just watch carefully as your order is prepared in front of you…I will never eat there again!
The lamb tastes and looks gross. The hummus is watery. The tabooli is dry. I wish I didn’t eat lunch here.
Nom nom nom. I went in for the first time yesterday as I had been craving a donair and was delighted to find a donair place just a couple of blocks from where I live. I had the chicken Lebanese donair and it did not disappoint. The service was very speedy, the ingredients fresh, and the portion size was ENORMOUS. The restaurant was also spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and the gentleman working was very polite and friendly. He also knows his stuff when it comes to wrapping donairs… I took mine home to eat and was a bit worried that the pita might have gotten a little soggy from the chicken and tzatziki and would fall apart as I was eating it but I’ll be damned if that thing held together right to the last bite.If you live in the Fairview area, this definitely should be one of your go-to places for a quick, easy, and relatively healthy meal.
Great quick lunch. I work right across the street from this place. I dropped in and got a Chicken Wrap with everything in it. It came to just over $7 for the wrap and it was a pretty big portion. Service was excellent and the man working there was very enthusiastic and polite. Would definitely go back.
