Small town feel. I’ve just recently moved to Vancouver and coming from a small town you really get a taste of it here, there are older folks have been going there for years, young and old friendly bartenders who didn’t mind a chat here and there. My group that comes in is a mix of 20-50 year olds and always see at least one younger group just to keep that fountain of youth going. Bartender is a goofy dude that reminds me of my dad. I haven’t ventured in in-time to have the eats there but hey, coming from a small town, there was always bags of chips to keep the drinks coming in.

I’ve never had the urge to stumble in here before 10 p.m. The kitchen’s usually closed, or just about to, by the time I rock up to see a show. You can catch good punk and all kinds of noisy damn bands here. They have beer. Who needs food?
