Disappointing service. Yes, it’s a huge tourist attraction, but there has to be more communication among the staff and customers! I ordered an ice chai latte and the girl who was making it seemed confused or unsure how to make it. In the end, it was watery and very disappointing! I’ve ordered it multiple times before and this time has had to be the worst one!
Granville Island Tea Company inside Granville Island Public Market is an excellent place if you want to grab a cup of tea or get some loose leaf tea.The only issue maybe the huge selection they carries. But there is always a perfect tea for every occasion and to suit your mood. There are some sampling cans (over 40 different ones!) for your to smell some of the tea even before you get to the counter.Price is reasonable, consider it is a really touristy area. Highly recommend if you are a tea drinker while you visiting the Market!

Knowledgable Staff, quality product. I find each of my trips here very successful. The staff is more than helpful and friendly. They will recommend different teas based on your preferences and ask the right questions to nail down just what kind of tea you are looking to try. Hard to find teas are readily available here, and the staff always ensure you know just how to brew the perfect cup. Their chai tea is completely worth the wait. Amazing on a cold morning to keep you toasty.

Questionable Service, Good Selection. This used to be even more confused: people waiting to buy a pound of tea conflicted with the punters buying a cuppa at the market. It is a bit better now, but service can be iffy. The tea selection is good, not sublime, and the prices reasonable. Like so many things in town, it tries to be several things and doesn’t, as a result, manage to do one superbly. Focus, focus, focus.
