This place was recommended by my friend Peter (Broadway Camera) he suggested the medium spicy curry base Otak Sole Fish Fillet he definitely wasn’t wrong it’s out of this world delicious i also added a bowl of steamed rice($2.00) so i could soak up all the curry goodness, the meal is $14.00 for the lunch size and $24.00 for the dinner size, the service was very efficient and friendly i would highly recommend this location.

Long wait for food.Visited recently during the Dine Out Festival. Place was packed at the beginning of a Sunday night.Wait staff politely busy & attending to everyone. Took 5-10 minutes for someone to notice us & take our order. Then the long wait began until we got our appetisers. At least 25 mins until we got them, the table of 5 who ordered after us had finished their appetisers as we got ours & to make matters worst, the table of 2 behind us who sat down & ordered well after us we tucking into their appetisers before we got our cutlery into our food! The roti canai came with no sauce so had to use the dipping sauce for the one stick of meat satay. The tofu goreng was fantastic- crispy on the outside & silky smooth interior. Salad was lightly dressed with standard dressing. Second course came out quicker than the first course. Chicken curry & Sambal green beans were packed full of Malaysian flare. Rice was average & fish was average. Dessert came out soon after finished the entree. We ordered the deep fried banana & ice cream. The deep fried banana was heavenly, only wish they gave us more like a whole banana instead of 1/3 of one, not sure it was because of the Dine Out Festival menu making portions smaller than what they may be for regular orders. Vanilla ice cream was sprinkled with shredded roasted coconut & drizzle of honey. All in all, great dessert. Shame about the long wait for initial course. At least the flavours were there & saved them!My recommendations- the deep fried banana with ice cream, get a double order!

Everything taste good, the skews were the best! Didnt like the papaya and mango salad, sauce taste plain, felt like eating chopped raw mango and papaya.

We ordered the appetizer platter for one, Nyonya Chicken curry, and curry lamb. Their appetizers were so good. Everything were tasty. The two curry were not bad, I do like the lamb better. The chicken seems to be not strong enough.

My fianc and I looooove food so I will be honest about that, the food is probably a 3-3.5. BUT the place smells like raw shrimp when you enter and there is NO SERVICE. We are not picky actually and usually don’t mind small things but we were sat in an area where no waiter came to us for 20 minutes until my fianc went up and called them, then they moved us and the drinks took 20 minutes and the appetizers another 30 and then the main dish another 30. The waiter then forgot to ever bring me a second glass of wine and when he did remember he asked if I still wanted it.They are nice people just very short staffed it looks like! Sorry, we were hoping to like it.

May 18, 2017I tried their kari lamb ( small portion with broken rice, it’s tasteless and not much sauce); mussels (sauce not rich and not favourite as last time, so disappointed), Singapore laksa (took us an hour drive for that dish… it’s end up… soup was was water down and tasteless… so disappointed) and deep fried banana with ice cream ( this is the only dish we like, crunchy banana), need to find another better place for laMarch 3, 2017I was there last wednesday. We like their laksa/ roti canai and mussels with creamy sauce. So, I bring my parents there today. We were the first table there, servers are stand around chatting. We ordered laksa, it’s not as much ingredients and tasty as last time, PLUS WE FOUND BLACK STONE INSIDE THE SOUP, it’s almost break my dad’s teeth. We also order roti, it’s not crispy at all… oily and too soft #_#… the curry chicken was tasteless and watery…. they are not busy at all with this quality today????

We ordered the Malaysian laksa and Ipoh char Hor fun. The Laksa came with lots of ingredients, especially fish cake. It was quite flavorful, though not as authentic. The fried wife rice noodles was also quite good and rich.
