This is a very cool bakery on Granville island. First off, the bread. There’s nothing like a warm fresh bread out of the oven early in the morning. I usually grab a fresh baguette to bring home to make breakfast dishes like bennys or smashed avocado spreads. I also make a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches and deli sandwiches with their breads too. As for the other treats here? The cookies and cakes are deadly lol. Too much to tell so I suggest you all to come visit this place while your walking around granville island. Love this place. Only downside to a few people is pricing, it’s a bit on the high side. Doesn’t discourage me though.Update: March 28 2016This is so cool. I found out that you can shop online and pick up directly from their bakery located on east 1st. My friends wanted a high tea setup at their home for 30 guests, and bbq setup for the kids. I ordered a few days before and picked up this morning. They package well and the quality is amazing, very impressed. I’ll be making mini sandwiches and crostini/cocktail appies, grill cheese croutons, and many more. The brioche burger buns are really nice for backyard bbq.
Apple croissant and macarons. Apple Croissant $3.59 – It’s like a croissant with apple pie filling. It wasn’t too sweet at all. Too bad it was a little burnt on the bottom. I’ve also picked up a I liked the pistachio macaron more than the salted caramel ($1.99 each). The salted caramel comes with real caramel filing. It was a little too salty. I would prefer if the salt was in the batter instead of the filling.
Part Baked Bread. I have tried a variety of baked goods here. They are reeeeeaaaaally good, but in opinion overpriced.Althought the part baked sourdough bread is overpriced as well, I love the warm bread when I take it home and bake it.
