My girlfriend wanted a healthier meal at Granville market. I pulled my phone out and voila, Taco salads.I got the shredded chicken Taco salad with all the trimmings. I can imagine the line up being very long here, however I lucked out in the morning.The only down side is the service. There’s a grumpy blond lady that was working there. She got into two arguments with two separate customers. I saw the whole thing and she just wouldn’t accept the customer being right… In my personal opinion, when your in hospitality, you cannot show your negative emotions to the extreme. Just quit your job if you don’t like it.The rating would’ve been higher.
I always come back for their taco salad. Everything is fresh tasting and the taco shell it comes in is delicious. I’ve only had the shredded chicken and it’s always moist and never dry. If you like taco salads like me, try it out!
I ordered food but i never got to eat it because i wantes to pay with dwbit and the cashier rudely said no. they had a working debit machine – the cashier just wanted cash. i left the food there.
Amazing service and nicest staff ever!. The first time I went there I forgot that I had my husbands debit card, and I entered the wrong code too many times and disabled the card (so embarrassing/annoying!). The manager was sooooo nice and told me to enjoy the lunch and to pay her back another time (we did). The mexiwrap that we ordered was REALLY good (and it’s vegan!). We now split a veggie wrap and mexifries with salsa every time we’re at Granville Island. They’ve started to recognize us and one of the girls even reminded me that I like the veggie wrap when I ordered the veggie burrito (which has dairy) by mistake.We also like to pick-up a big container of their fresh made salsa for home or for get-togethers. It’s made daily and it’s the best salsa I’ve have ever had!
They forgot the beef in my beef taco salad but I was already 1/3 into it when I realized this so I didn’t bother to go and complain. Deep fried shell is probably not the healthiest thing but it tasted good. Salad was bland with only the salsa and guacamole acting as the seasoning. And the hot sauce that I asked for. I wonder if it normally comes with a dressing and they forgot to give me that too? If it does normally comes w dressing I would get it again. If not, I wouldn’t
Done with this place. I have been a regular at this place, ordering the same thing (taco salad) every time I go, which is generally once/week. You’d think they would recognize my face by now, but their lack of friendliness indicates otherwise. I rarely ever write reviews but this place is frustrating because the food is excellent, but the service is horrible. And after today, it will be my last visit. In order to cut costs, they have scrimped on ingredients and the taco salad was basically half of it’s former self. Not at all a great value for $8. If you do try this place, don’t have high expectations regarding service and when you see them making your food, ask them to top it up otherwise you’ll be left with only a few bites of food!
Best Fast Breakfast. For a veggie, their blackbean and egg with corn tortilla is the best high protein and the best taste too.The ladies working are really nice and generally very accomodating.
