Cute cafe off of the tourist path. Probably the most chill place on Granville island because there aren’t many tourists there. Had a delicious buttermilk biscuit sandwich with fire roasted tomatoes and eggs. A nice place to relax on a weekend morning.

Not so good food and no efficient staff. I went to Agro caffe this noon to grab something for me and my two little kids. I ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches and one french fries for them and one of those cold already prepared quinoa wrap for myself to go. Considering the type of cafe and the fact that most of the customers ordered coffee and some goodies not foods that require a lot of preparing, it looks insane to me to wait for 20 minutes. The grilled cheese sandwiches cut in half squeezed in a paper box very distastefuly the guy didn’t even bother to close the lids for me. He put the fries in a serving dish like he forgot it was for take out then transferred them to a paper box again with open lid. And my wrap has been warmed cut in half squeezed in a small paper bag. I had to leave the cafe with three paper boxes and one extra ful paper bag and my two littele kids. They didn’t even put my order in a bigger bag. No shortage of staff at all there were at least four people present in the kitchen other than the cashier girl. They seemed to be too busy talking to focus and work harder. I even noticed one guy was busy cutting a big block of chrese into small pieces. As far as i know this type of job is done not at the presence of customers. Anyway i am so disappointed from their lack of attention and care towards their customers and not trying to do a good job.

This cafe is an attractive spot in one of the quieter areas of Granville island. The food offerings are interesting and modern. However, the service is spectacularly bad. I ordered a couple of premade sandwiches that just needed reheating. There were five staff behind the counter and only one hapless guy handling sandwiches and salads. He was swamped but got no help from the staffer assembling sandwiches (to go into fridge), the dishwasher, the idle cashier or barista. No sign of any leadership or teamwork. It was brutal to behold. Several customers were complaining about the late food by the time we could hightail it out of there. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Bad customer service.. I only visit Agro whenever I have time to kill. I had never visited here in the mornings or whenever I am in a rush. The staffs are super slow and your food will take you more than 20 minutes. Also when I ordered a muffin there, the girl(cashier) expected me to pick it up by myself. Although I said what kind of muffin I wanted and also I wanted it to-go, she said I am supposed to pick it up myself. Seriously??? I have never been to a cafe where I am expected to pick my muffin without any bag or napkins.

Rude staff. I just had a wrap at the Agro caf. The food is good but the staff at the counter were very rude. I started my order with a smile and by the end I was left shocked at the rudeness and lack of customer service. I will not be back.

Great!!. Visited Argo the other week. New management, new faces, and great new tastes! I had the Buffalo Ribwich with yam fries, and my boyfriend had the Turkey brie cranberry panini. Both were AMAZING and I would definitely eat there again.Coffee is brewed perfectly and very aromatic.

Walked by this place several times so on Canada day I decided to give it a try. I got a double espresso and a vegan wrap. Espresso was overextracted and the roast was nothing spectacular. I waited 25 minutes for the vegan wrap which is kind of ridiculous. When I got it it was allright, a bit on the soggy side. Wouldn’t come back here.
