Average food, a little greasy. Good service. Dumplings were good, there is a wide selection. We shared the Mandarin fried rice which could have used more lamb. The dish overall had good aroma and flavour but what ruined it was the thick coating of oil /grease on the fried rice. My recommendation- try the selection of dumplings.
The quality of food and service is a hit and miss here. Their Dan Dan noodles, beef pancakes, and cumin beef are decent here. Very disappointed with their Lan Zhou beef noodles though. The soup was extremely salty that I had to pour my hot tea in there. You cant taste any flavour other than saltiness in the soup. Its also my first time seeing vermicelli in Lan Zhou beef noodle. The texture of the noodles are not chewy at all. I thought they were supposed to be hand-pulled noodles? Service was okay. We did go close to their closing time so they were probably short-staffed. I would still come back but will definitely just stick to their Dan dan noodles and beef pancakes.
This place was featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners,Drive-in and Dives and he’s featured on the menu board outside what could go wrong,i asked what size was the Sichuan Hot & Sour Soup waitress reply was medium and i also ordered the Spicy Gingered Beef,when i soup arrived WTF!!! it was for a family of 4 and the beef dish was huge so i dug deep and fought and fought but at the very end i couldn’t finish the meal. The soup was very fantastic but not too spicy and the beef dish i would highly recommend this location,please bring your appetite.
