Great late night pho place. Decent price and good value. Went with a couple of my friends who love their pho and they were very happy. Would not hesitate to recommend.
House special was good, not sure how they pull it off but it tastes more flavorful than any other pho restaurants nearby. Service is to be expected like you would imagine from a 24/7 place. Edit: the male cashiers are ruthless with tips, won’t give you change unless you ask for it and will make you repeat yourself when you ask for change. Definite guilt tripping technique. Not sure how they think anything over 10% tip is acceptable here with the service and attitude. Yes, of course, I want the $10 change on my $25 bill (tipped them 20% and they somehow still want more for the non-existent service.)
Literally one of the worst pho I’ve ever eaten. I went here because it was convenient. Needless to say, I will not be coming back. Would have been better off not eating pho regardless of how bad my cravings were. Definitely did not satisfy. Side note: It was pretty expensive for what it was. $10 for a large that barely had any meat. Basically paid an extra $2 for extra noodles. Pretty salty, and the flavouring was off.
Pho Extreme Xe Lua is open 24 hours, which is why it’s always so busy, not necessarily because of the food. We ordered a large seventeen, and a plate of the signature butter chicken wings. The pho was very average, the broth didn’t have much flavour. The chicken wings were even worse, stay away from them! They skin was very mushy and had no taste. We’d only come back if we are out of options.
I have had the worst Bun Bo Hue here ever… They just used Pho soup with chilli oil thinking that no one in Canada (if not Vienamese) will know the difference.. Wrong!! I have been to Vietnam four times in four years now and I can say that was the worst BBH I have even had.The rice dishes are okay tho here. Bun salad noodles are only satisfactory. Do not disappoint yourself going to this restaurant thinking you are getting anything near authentic Vietnamese.
So average . Tells us after the meal that it’s cash only !! It was 3am . Sorry we missed the small sign on the side of the door !!and it’s definitely not 24hrs
I was bored one Saturday night and started to get hungry. It was around 11PM and began to research late night eats. Found this Pho place that states to be open 24hr. Heck yah – I was in LOL. I ended up ordering a large steak and meatball pho …it was decent. I found the broth to be a bit salty but nonetheless it hits the spot for late night cravings. No major complaints – I’d go here again.
