The prices are reasonable, ownersare friendly, and best of all thesushi is fresh and great selection of rolls. Some of our favorite rolls: Amber, Alaska, Green Hornet, Passion Fruit.
Affordable, large portions, high ratio of contents over rice and quick service. Not to mention that it’s a 30 second walk from my workplace, so lunch is always at my fingertips. I ordered a Salmon and California roll as my usual testers, and a Dynamite roll just for kicks. There was a lot of salmon in the Salmon rolls, which is surprising considering the cheap price. California rolls weren’t too mayo-y, and had a hint of fishiness that Cali usually doesn’t have, so points there. Dynamite came with two prawn tempura instead of the usual one, and was fresh from the fryer which you never find anywhere unless ordering from AYCE (and even then AYCE sometimes brings out cold tempura *tsk* *tsk* *tsk*). No longer than a ten minute wait, and a solid 4.0 for Ro.
My wife and I ate there last night and we really liked the sushi. The green hornet was especially good. We had edemame tea miso and four types of sushi for $20.
Overall was very satisfied with my meal. Was left full and had leftovers to go. My mom and I ordered salmon/tuna/toro sashimi and the cuts were not too big or too small. My mom also had the clam miso which wasn’t too special but it was different from just ordinary miso. Also ordered the Bbq ribs which were delicious but very chewy. Flavour was on point though. And lastly, had two rolls, dynamite and the Vancouver roll which were all delicious as well. 🙂
Good sushi and quick takeout service. Lots of veggie options, including rolls and combinations I had not seen in other places before. Reasonable prices as well.
Reasonable price. Food is okay… Nothing special. They always get my orders wrong when I called in for take out. Or I always miss something in my takeouts every time. :((((( I always get charged extra for the special rolls but ended up with something else in my takeouts. Not impressed with that.
