came here on a wait before lobsterman feast and nevertheless, maybe it’s because of the sunny day, and i don’t reallly come here often the scenery and openness, and breeze of water in hot summer weather does lighten up the mood… it was an awesome day, the food hmmmm i think it was definitely alright, the patty was juicy, every bite drips a little bit of the juiciness and the fries, stock fries, but still good, no complaint.I tried the market special, everything is good, definitely didn’t dissapoint, i don’t mind having another bite in this location as of next time. update: the poutine is okay but definitely not the best. mangkr.wordpress.com

Went there on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. Quick service with happy staff, pretty good and relaxed sitting environment in a busy market.Grabbed the poutine and the European hot dog. Fairly ordinary product – do eat if you happen to pass by, but I’m sure there are other equally interesting options nearby.

Great food, priced reasonably, served quick, and with great customer service. I literally cannot find an excuse to not give this place a 5 star rating. It’s a good thing they’re on Granville Island – if they were any closer to where I live I may never have eaten anywhere else again!

Love the poutine. They get it. Hot and crispy fries smothered in smooth, gooey gravy and melting lumps and strings of cheese curd. Superb! Best I’ve had so far in this city.

Good deal. Love the chicken burgers here and the buns have a great texture to them. The place is not stingy with toppings and the caesar salad is fresh. For this price range it’s hard to find better tasting food in the market area. Would definitely return!

Messy But Oh So Good!. These burgers are great! I’m usually not big on beef, but I enjoyed the hamburger here so much that I had one on a subsequent visit – juicy, not gristly, lots of FLAVOUR! The chicken burgers are also awesome – unbreaded chicken breast with teriyaki sauce or home made barbecue sauce – oh yum! Yes, more expensive than McDonald’s, but McDonald’s sucks. The burgers run about $10-$11 and come with either fries or Caesar salad. I’ve tried the Caesar salad, and didn’t care for it. The lettuce was good, but it was mostly lettuce and canned parmesan cheese. The fries are nice skin-on wedges – golden and crispy. I really like the Grill Special Chicken burger (BBQ sauce, swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions, mayo, tomato), and the Market Special Beef burger (Secret sauce, swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions and tomato). The Teriyaki Chicken burger is very tasty and comes adorned with pineapple! They also offer a veggie burger and a couple of salmon burgers – I think next time I will try one of the salmon burgers. Hot dogs are also on the menu; my daughter had the regular dog with bacon on it – it wasn’t fancy, and she liked it. Poutine is also on the menu – it’s okay. I haven’t tried any of their breakfast items (yet). The people behind the counter are always friendly, and you can’t beat the view – if you can eat your food outside on a nice day (avoid the seagulls – I once had an entire cup of tartar sauce pilfered by one of those little jerks), you’ve got it made! My only complaint is that the napkins are way too flimsy for such a robust burger! I bring my own wipes!
