The best way I can describe the atmosphere of Willow Cafe & Bakery is sunny, relaxed, and easygoing – its has a nice vibe to it and is a nice place to go and hang out. There is table and bar seating, as well as a small couch / which worked well for a meet up group I hosted there, called Reflection Cafe. Luke was helpful and kind, he let our group take up the whole space! Will definitely visit again!

Great Place. I love this place, I can sit and do work and enjoy a variety of food and drinks. Super friendly staff and owners. LOVE THE BREAD / PERSIAN FOOD and more..

Cooking Instructor. I love the many dishes and pastries, made fresh, daily, and on site. My favourite is Tahchin, a Persian rice dish. There are three variations sold: Chicken and Spinach, lentil, or curry. Home made vogurt, or tabouli salad accompanies the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. The coffee is great, the pastries are fresh, tasty and the Tahchin is amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant.

Good luck at this location!. I haz a sad when I think about anyone trying to run a profitable business at the spot where Willow Coffee is. It looks the same inside as the Java Hut franchise that used to be there. More candy bars in the deli case, slightly fewer pastries. I rode my bicycle by Java Hut many times on the way to work or the gym during the past three years, and the place was always near-empty, which is probably why it became defunct. The neighbourhood has lots of housing and a fair amount of foot traffic, with people walking their kids and dogs to nearby parks. But there are a half-dozen coffee shops in a four-block radius along busier thoroughfares. Willow Coffee’s cappucino was OK, a bit watery but not bitter from over-espressing like many coffees I’ve had here. I wish them luck, but I don’t buy coffee out very often because I have a $2,000+ Italian-made espresso machine at home, so I save money in the long run instead of paying $3+ for caffeine fixes from shops.
