I loved the Jambalaya. I’m not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. I ordered the medium spiced Jambalaya and it was great. The toppings WERE mixed together, it had great flavor and a nice kick and was pour over rice. Maybe the fact the rice wasn’t mixed in….but I would recommend it as well. My friend had the Indonesian Cashew curry Chicken which was really good! And the third person in our group had the hot pot. Made us all jealous that we hadn’t gotten it. It was fully loaded with prawns, salmon and squid with udon noodles and veggies. Smelled delicious, tasted better! I highly recommend you try this reincarnation of the Cafe Ceylon. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Wonton Benny. Homemade wonton with bok choy, carrot, eggs on an English muffin with hollandaise mixed with Szechuan sauce served with BAKED homefries topped with sour cream. Delicious!09 Apr, 2015New menu, awesome Benny and omlette. So a buddy and I went in just to try out this place. They were advertising a new menu, new chef. Well I’m glad we did. They had a WONTON BENNY with actual wonton in it with a Szechuan hollandaise. It was awesome. If you like wonton soup, TRY IT! My buddy had the veggie delight omelette. Again just right! And I love the fact that the homefries are baked not deep fried. The chef said they don’t even have a deep fryer! I highly recommend this place and I’ll be back to try one of everything on the menu for sure!
Great appetizers. We went Saturday April 4 for their Happy Hours offerings. The hazel nut and bacon encrusted Goat Cheese, Gyoza,Beef Shank and BBq pork are so full of flavours. What a gem we had found.30 Mar, 2015Seafood pot. Just as good as Caf Ceylon or even better with a bigger potion
Jambalaya. The toppings were not mixed together which doesn’t bother me. Kind of nice to be able to put whatever bits I want into every bite. The dish itself was excellent and I really enjoyed it. The only thing that disappointed me was that there was very little spice to it. I thought Creole is supposed to have some kick. Otherwise really good.
