Wonderful croissants, danish, carrot cake … and the friendly staff. Price is also very reasonable. The only downside is that it’s not a cafe, and I cannot enjoy the freshly bought pastries right away!!!

I started coming here recently after walking by and smelling the delicious baked goods. It’s nice to see them making fresh things while you browse the selection. Love their bran muffins!!!! The bread is also good. Their cakes and pies are gorgeous. I ordered a cake from here and asked if they could put a message on it. They said yes. Went to pick up the cake and the message was absolutely unreadable. Don’t say you can do messages if you can’t! The cake did taste amazing though.

Amazing Talent. Having travelled extensively it still makes me happy that I live in the town with Patisserie Daniel. From home style cookies with pizzazz to the most decadent cakes and tortes I have ever had, sorry Austria. Daniel is the amazing talent if you have never been there you must go, and if you have you’re most likely a regular.

Black Forest Cake. Very disappointed with the cake. No one liked it. Very few cherries in the cake. Cake was very dry with no kirsch. I sent two emails to owner to give him the opportunity to say something, anything about the poor quality. So I guess my only recourse is a bad review and not to shop there again or endorse the shop. Must say the cake looked pretty, just tasted terrible.

WEDDING CAKE. If you have a specific idea for wedding cake i would suggest trying somewhere else, the cake tasted good but was not what we wanted as far as looks go.

Wedding Cake DISASTER. I have just finished a slap in the face style conversation with Patisserie Daniiel….WOW. My daughter married two weeks ago and had ordered a custom designed cake from this establishment. The unique design requested by her was stunningly beautiful, and she was assured this cake could be replicated by Patisserie Daniel. The cake she received was breathtaking – it was APPALLING! So bad was it that we were advised by our wedding designer to complain, which I have just tried to do, but my comments fell on deaf ears and basically I was told it was my fault for not contacting them before now and what were they supposed to do about it? What!!!!!! We paid $500 for what was meant to be a highlight piece of the reception, but it really looked like an old, tatty cake, a cake so sad looking that no one found themselves able to comment on it….a wedding cake that isn’t commented upon? A wedding cake that has minimal photographs taken of it? What does that say to you? So why did I wait two weeks before contacting them? Well, exhaustion and not wanting to deal with a problem is the answer, but as time has passed I realize that this cake certainly looks like it was made with no love or care…or perhaps it was given to an apprentice as a practise piece? Whatever the reason the cake received was nothing like the cake expected, cost $500 (or close enough to) and the response from P.D. was NOT what I would have expected. This is my experience, I only hope others have been different as I wouldn’t wish this for any bride.
