Jacks has great music and an awesome atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and the food is decent and we didnt have to wait a long time to get it. Definitely will be returning
Food is gross and the drinks are bad. They have let this place go into major disrepair. Smells like mould and stale beer. Stains on the carpet and the walls. Holes in the seats. Broken tables. Sketchy clientele. Patrons are over overserved.
The bar in here has a great atmosphere. It’s upbeat and appeals across a broad spectrum. Their live music is actually pretty good all things considered.The food on the other hand is definitely sub-par. The burgers can only really be described as generic and things like the spinach dip were simply undercooked. It’s like there’s not much effort being put in to feed drunk people.
barely any fries, the waitress brought us more upon request. also the chicken in the wrap was so tiny, we complained but did not receive any discount on the wrap

It’s gone down hill. It wasn’t all that long ago that we revelled in the fact that we had a GOOD neighbourhood pub that was within walking distance, had fantastic staff and often changed and promoted their menu. They once took pride… but something happened. What ever happened on their business end left us wondering where to go now.They let the place get run down… I remembered when they brought in comfy leather-like lounge chairs… but now they are sad ripped up neglected pieces of ratty furniture. It’s embarrassing for them to keep them in house.They haven’t renewed the former owners menu. So far they’ve tried new chef, after new chef to make something of it, but fail after fail.They are in a great location with LOTS of people in the surrounding neighbourhood willing to spend good money on good food… but I think they’ve chosen a different path. Sad.
