We waited a bit long for our order, but it was good. The beer is pretty good too and decently priced. Would recommend for any foodies. Located in a very scenic part of FL.
They have done a really good job with this place. Interior design is first class and tips it’s hat to Fort Langley heritage in a funky way. Menu is all about comfort and they make their own wide selection of beers. Had the Helles served in a really nice glass and it was excellent served at the right temperature. Spice Rubbed Roast Chicken done to perfection was served on creamed corn with lightly truffled aioli. Perhaps a little tight on the chicken portion but first class meal. On the basis of above, would give it 5 stars. However the service was slow and indifferent and Frankly just not particularly friendly. Also the live entertainment – guy strumming and a guitar and singing Springsteen too loudly and slightly out of key – gave me a headache. Other minor suggestion would be to warm the plates prior to putting food on them, the creamed corn was served luke warm.
Great place! I live nearby and I just started coming here. Great atmosphere and pretty good food. The menu has a wide variety, but let’s be honest. You’re coming here for the beer. I got the Flight, which is a small taster of 4 beers on tap. Obviously, you’re not going to love every beer you get, but this is a great way to figure out which ones you love. I’ll be coming back soon, as it’s a great place to come, chill, and grab a beer and a good meal. UPDATE: I’ve been coming here regularly for brunch and let me tell ya: it’s unreal. COME HERE AND GET FOOD the food is unbelievable, the burgers are insane, and if you don’t get the Fried Chicken Burger, you need to question your life choices.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The patio was very nice. I ordered the half chicken and a pint of beer. It was great quality and very tasty. The chicken had so much flavor. The purple mashed potatoes were also fantastic. It came with a grilled onion that was also very nice even though I usually don’t like onion. The only downfall is that the portions are very small. My half chicken meal included barely a breast. It would make more sense for them to either lower the price a bit or include slightly more food.
