Came here because I always go to the same place for Donairs, so I thought I’d try this place. I don’t regret it mostly because I just ordered fries which were not bad but on the donairs side of things I was not impressed. Just like other reviews I’ve read, the service was not that great and screwed up my girlfriends order. Guess what she ordered! A donair. Like how do you even screw that up. This place is literally called A1 Donair and Chester’s. They gave her a wrap, not a donair. Like how do you even mess that up. Anyways, some pluses is that they got a wizard statue, which is pretty sweet. Come here if you want a wrap, fried chicken and a picture with a wizard.
The food was alright, service was pretty bad. Honestly its worth going just for the experience. I’m pretty sure no one has any idea what they’re doing in here. There are at least 4 different menus placed around the store that have different things on them and the workers have no clue how to make any of it. It’s hilarious. You’ll never get the picture that you ordered, so you can guarantee you’ll be surprised every time. Never a dull moment here. Also I’m pretty sure the wizard here has some deeper meaning, definitely needs more investigation. @PapaChicken
Tastes okay, but needs to open 7 days a week. Food is decent, get cravings for chesters, but disappointed and angry that they aren’t open on saturdays and sundays..
Business hours are poorly scheduled.Everytime I pop by to buy something, they are closed…Really hope they open more frequent.
