Great food but you need to be here early before lunch or dinner or else it will be packed – this is probably the busiest restaurant in Fraser Heights. They have great black bean noodle and various noodle soups such as the Sacheon Tangmyun (basically a Jjampong with a spicy white clam/oyster broth instead of red pepper). The cold noodle soup (Junghwa naengmyeon) is a must-try but only available in the summer. However, I do think their spicy seafood noodle (jjampong) tends to be somewhat watered-down compared to Sunny Dragon and Tae Yang Gak which usually have more flavour, although it’s still good. They also don’t have as much variety of seafood as those other locations (only varying types of squid and shrimps), but they make up for it by giving more portions. They also have a fried jjampong but it’s only available in single-serving during lunch special hours (otherwise it’s a two-person serving). Service is quick and friendly.EDIT: Price rise sadly. Still the same quality of food but some items like Sacheon Tangmyun have been removed.
Decided to try this Korean styled Chinese food restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. It is located in the far reaches of Fraser Heights. It isn’t actually that hard to find, but we were not familiar with the area and needed gps to find it.It was very busy on a weekday lunch. Busy enough that we needed to wait 15 mins for a table. We were a group of 5 (3 women and 2 men) but opted for their combo menu meant for 7-8 people ($95). Everything was delicious. But if a group of 5, and mostly women at that, ordered a 7-8 person combo, you would think there would be a fair bit of food leftover. There was just enough for us and none of us a big eaters.I recommend the food here but don’t trust their combo menu portioning lol
