This is one of those unique spots owned and operated by passionate immigrants in a very non diverse small town. You wouldn’t expect Squamish to have high quality sushi like this! The sashimi was high quality and my BC role was super tasty and one of the prettiest I’ve been served. Also, really friendly service and a nice atmosphere.
Sushi Sen definitely has potential to be a great spot in Squamish. Their 8 piece sushi rolls are incredibly inexpensive and came out well prepared, however it took forever for the food to be served. It was quite busy, and seemed like the kitchen had fallen behind and was struggling to keep up with the demand. The rice was somewhat dry, which is why the wrapped avocado roll was my favorite. Overall it was well presented, just wonder why it all took so long? carlivh.com
Despite the sushi being good and very well priced, the service at sushi sen is very under par. The restaurant is full and bustling but the servers struggle to keep up with the ever demanding customers and the kitchen seems to be overwhelmed with orders. We waited over 30 minutes for our sushi order. The menu has quite a big variety to choose from and their individual rolls of 8 pieces are extremely affordable. Would recommend if your patience is at an all time high.
Great sushi, better than most sushi spots in Vancouver! I loved that their spicy tuna sashimi was served 2 ways, I haven’t seen that before. Triple salmon roll was a great idea! No pink ginger here, which is usually my indicator of a good sushi resto. We ordered take out based on reviews of slow service. Our food was ready in 15 mins tho.
Best fine sushi in the sea to sky. Chefs sashimi always impresses and is equivalent of top sushi restaurants in Vancouver. Speciality rolls are also very good. Service is professional and friendly
Growing up in Vancouver, we are spoiled with good sushi… Moving to Squamish we were so stoked when we found Sushi Sen. Super friendly and fast service, great specials and options, prices are good. Definitely good quality fish and food. We love going here to try all their special rolls!
Best bang for your buck lunch combos. Had the Chicken Curry w/ Rice Combo which includes a Miso Soup, Green Salad, California Roll (standard imitation crab stick type but rice made it tasty) and a large hot plate of beautifully done Chicken Curry. I was stuffed which rarely happens. All for under $10. Definitely stopping here again.
