Dont bother, this restaurant is decent if its open, but I cant count the number of times Ive checked the website and seen open only to drive down there and its closed. At least have the courtesy to have the correct hours for your restaurant do I dont have to drive down there only to be disappointed. This has happens three times in the past year to me and this time was the last straw, I wont be back.
Tried their raw oysters, chowder, and salmon cakes. Oysters were fresh and I like their homemade sauce. Chowder tasted a bit funny it’s sour o_O. Salmon cakes were average and a little over priced ($12 for 2 small pieces).
Great food and fantastic oysters and wine. The service was a mixed bag: our server was pretty high which is ok I guess but he kind of had a hard time remembering the oysters and wine. A couple reminders and things turned out fine.
Absolutely loved my clam chowder. Light and flavourful with nice herbs. Great view from all tables. Enjoyed watching oysters being shucked right in front of us. Would definitely go back.
This is every day trippers wet dream. Great seafood, fresh oysters and a good brew served in a casual fun atmosphere. If you’re looking to experience Gibsons today and not relieve some old 70’s TV show, come here, you won’t be disappointed.
