Awesome !. Lemongrass chicken with ginger rice was delicious the guys had the green curry and they said that also was delicious.–for an appetizer we had coconut prawns and they were to die for ! Both the food AND the service were fantastic!
Great service. We love having the Basil Leaf in our area. Easy to walk to, very good food. Friendly staff.
Meh. The food was alright, it’s just definitely nothing special. Portions were a bit on the small side, you don’t get very much vegetables or meat; mostly rice and noodles. That being said, the servers were very nice, attentive, and informative. We definitely wouldn’t order either of our dishes again, but I doubt we’ll be going back at all.
A cold night in December….. Great service! Nice atmosphere. The broth in the war won ton soup was very good, but no vegetables in it other than a few bean sprouts! Rats – I like ordering war won ton soup because it’s a bit more health-conscious, but that didn’t work out this time. I went with three other people and they all enjoyed their food. (As did I…I just missed my beloved broccoli…)
This hidden gem is amazing!! Vermicelli bowls, soups, pho, the weekend laksa are all amazing choices. Salad and spring rolls are the best in town. Very friendly staff and quick service. Foodies will love this place. Our new favorite place in town!
My experience at Basil. This is by far one of the best restaurants in the Okanagan. ..A hidden gem. ..Mandy and her staff are the best and the food is outstanding!…they do deliver…which is the usual to me and food always arives before the time alotted. ..I recommend any appy. ..and for main..the yellow curry dish…all thumbs up for this restaurant
