I will never order food from here again. Was told 30 minutes, which is longer than normal for sushi. Went in after 35 minutes and they told me it was going to be longer. I asked how much and she said she didn’t have an answer for me. She said at least 20 minutes. So I walked away. The reality is they shouldn’t have told us 30 minutes when it was going to be closer to an hour. So now we have wasted our time and still have no food. It’s unfortunate because it is close to our house and convenient. No offer of any kind when I told her to cancel it and barely an apology. Pretty sad if you ask me.I will drive to Ozeki’s or Bluetail which are both cheaper and better and spend the extra couple minutes driving.

Great sushi at a low cost, you simply can’t go wrong.Good sized menu with a decent combination of classics and one off’s.My personal favorite roll is, hands down, the ‘Crunchy spicy Tuna roll’: a typical tuna roll only it’s been battered and fried, with a spicy mayo drizzle. No other sushi joint has made it like this to my knowledge, and I love it!Runner up from the menu: ‘Kick-ass’ House Ramen!!Whether dinning with friends or my hubby, I’m always treated like an old friend!Always a pleasant experience, with lovely staff members!
Excellent sushi restaurant. Fish is fresh and couldn’t ask for better service. This place is one of the better sushi spots in Kelowna, price is decent and sushi always tastes good. Keep up the good work!
Always a good spot. We live in the area and Doze is our favourite sushi spot. The food has been always consistently good and the service has been pleasant.
Overcooked and tasteless. Overpriced. Mushy rice sushi. Greasy, overcooked chicken wings. Bland watery broth for ramen soup. Veggies were peas and corn. Identical to any ramen from a package. Tiny sushi rolls, odd tasting. Soft tempura. Chef? No way! Line cook, maybe. This is not Japanese food. We threw our $50 meal out.
I’ve eaten here many times along with take out and the food is very good. Portions are bit small but the quality is quite good. Definitely recommend.
