Well the location is excellent – the bar sits overlooking perfection run and the valley beyond. It is a shame though that they stack the outside chairs and tables over the widows to block the view when they are not in use on the deck – odd but what can you say. The inside is clean and well presented compared to many of the restaurant bars in Big White and the fitout reflective of the ski area. Also there is plenty of room on each table and around the tables. The fact they brew their own craft beers on site is pretty cool and it was pretty good beer. The restaurant area is nicely separated from the bar area providing some separation without losing the atmosphere from the bar – but you can eat in either section. The food menu was simply typical ski resort foods – burgers et al. The brisket burger was good and the fries etc… not bad – but there is nothing spectacular about it and it is just the same old food as every other restaurant bar in the place. Service was ok, not friendly, not incredibly efficient – just ok. Overall a good ski resort restaurant/bar that is clean, in a great position and the craft beer adds an extra bit of interest.
