Moving on…. Last time I ordered a combo dish from here, the noodles had filled up over half of the smaller part of the container for the other two items in the combo, so I only had a small portion of the other dishes. Between this and declining quality here, I’m moving on. Later!13 Aug, 2014Disappointing.. Usually this is one of my go-to places, but after tonight’s dinner I’m rethinking that decision. Most of what we ordered was very bland compared to what we’ve had in the past. The rice and chow mein had no flavour; the beef and veg had some new (and unappealing) taste that I didn’t care for; in a ‘spicy squid’ the peppers and onions should be an additional part of the dish, not the MAIN part of the dish with a small amount of squid! The Ginger beef was okay, but pretty hard to screw up something drenched in sauce. I don’t know if it was a new chef, or an off night, but I hope this isn’t the new norm or I’m going to have to find a new place!

Love wok out! We think this restaurant is fantastic! I am completely addicted to the spicy squid and the ginger beef is a close second fave. Fast fresh and quick plus the staff are really nice. Try and get in early before it gets busy then you might have to wait a bit. But even then -it is totally worth the wait!
Glenmore. I’ve ordered take-out from this restaurant a few times. I always get the individual combos with chicken Chow Mein noodles. I usually order for pick-up. Once I ordered for delivery and it was on time with no issues. The noodles are a different style than I am used to (lighter, less flavorful, maybe less fried and salty), but are good nonetheless. The chicken balls, almond chicken, and sweet and sour pork are quite good. I have not tried the chicken fried rice. Honestly, for $10.25, you cannot go wrong. My individual combo orders have always lasted me for 2, if not 3 entire meals. The portions are generous.
Glenmores Treat. I have over the years frequented the Wok out when I lived in Glenmore and now that i live in Winfield. Much better than the restaurant in Winfield. The Wok Out is reasonably priced , moderate to good quality ingredients. The service is typical when busy you will be waiting otherwise its good.Owners seem dedicated to the community however I would agree if you advertise your open till nine p.m and someone phones at 8:50 p.m guess what you should honor your commitment, I have spent 28 years in the business as a Red Seal and always serviced the customers right to close. I cant tell how times I had the kitchen cleaned and had last minute orders but I did them.Please honor your closing times.P.S Happy Customers.
What a joke. If your experience is going to be like mine, this is what will happen:You will arrive at your scheduled time for pick up. You will pay and be told to wait. They will then hang out and talk with their friends at the counter. 20 minutes of waiting longer, the friends will clear out and you will realize this is ridiculous. You will go back to the counter and obviously see your food sitting there on the counter and call someone back over to give it to you. You will then go home to have your cold food.
No more McD’s. Living near by, I finally made the decision to try this place out. Definitely a good choice. I purchased combo E and I am currently trying to fathom how awesome it is. The $11 price only makes it taste better. Highly recommend, especially if you live in the area.
