Ajishou Japanese Cuisine is located at the Garden City Mall. It is in the same plaza as Walmart in Richmond. It is a Chinese operated Japanese restaurant.Food is average, and service is pretty decent. Decor is amazing, and it has nice diamond-sparkle finish table top.Food: Can Try! I usually don’t write reviews but this place has some of the most DISGUSTING customer service ever. Wouldn’t even call it customer service. We literally came in, we stood there for a few minutes and we were not greeted. I had to go up to the cashier area and was slightly brushed off by the manager (?) who’s name was Frank, to put our name down. There was another couple in front of us who were not greeted either. The couple too had to go up to the counter. Frank told us it would be a 15 minute wait. Three additional parties came in after us and were seated before we were. At this point I had to chase down Frank to inquire if he was going to sit us and why others were sat before us. Frank then proceeded to offer us the sushi bar. I told Frank that I didn’t want the sushi bar, I would rather have a table. Instead of acknowledging my request, Frank decided to walk away from me…. At this point, I had to chase after him, for the second time.We left after.It was very unfortunate because we heard unbelievable things about both food and service. Rest assure, we won’t be returning.
